"Of all the definitions and illustrations and examples we can give, primitive art may be best described as "Works of love". Its a teddy bear or simple doll or stuffed pillow or favorite quilt that a child has loved and held and slept with until it was almost worn out.

We think of our own children when they were young and gave us a crayon picture with the caption "I Love You" And we remember our own cherished toys. We long for our lost doll and wish that just once more, we could hold her and be comforted by her softness and hug her until there was nothing left but the memory. Primitive art revives the memory, gives us comfort and takes us back to a simple time when gifts came from the heart and one toy was a friend forever."

Many different HOMEMADE refresher sprays and potpourri's .
 A blend of aromatic dried flowers gathered in season to fill the
 house with pleasant fragrances year-round.

Over the years, our sister, Rhonda, has developed  potpourri recipes by experimenting first with mixtures of various oils and then combining with flowers that are  both visually pleasing and representative of its scent. All are a blend of a few of her favorite oils and flowers and therefore is considered her...well our...  signature fragrance. Exclusive to our store.

There has been a pretty...(I guess if you like snow) few inches of new snow.  I do like the clean look. Dad followed me up to the shop today to help set up for the day. As you will realize reading this blog....Papa still takes care of his girls. No were not spoiled....just he really likes to take care of us....as we do them! I will be posting a few photos if you have not shopped at our shop for you to see just what we have.
